About-Us

Since Dynamic Plumbing Works launched in 2010, Director Cam Lowe has been committed to building a dedicated and highly skilled team.

A certified Plumber and Gasfitter and registered Drain Layer, Cam has over seventeen years of experience in the industry. After becoming qualified and registered in 2008, and then certified in 2010, he was hungry to establish a business that provided quality workmanship at a fair price with a team that was professional, friendly, and easy to deal with.

Today, he leads a crew of registered plumbers, gasfitters, drainlayers, enthusiastic apprentices, and drain unblocking specialists. His team is agile and capable of tackling larger projects without needing to outsource to third-party subcontractors. This autonomy allows Dynamic Plumbing Works to complete jobs to the high standard customers have come to expect.

Not content with sitting still, we are always striving to improve the way we do things – investing in the latest tools and equipment and making use of new technology.

Our full-time Office Manager and Operations Manager/Quantity Surveyor work tirelessly to ensure our operations and processes are as efficient as possible. This ultimately results in saving time and labour costs for our customers. This office-based support means there is always someone available to take calls and oversee those larger projects, while our tradespeople can get on with the job at hand.

We are always up for a challenge and look forward to working with you.

Cam-Lowe

A message from Cam Lowe.

After being in the industry since 2003, I still love the challenges that plumbing presents; problem-solving, having to think outside the box, persevering through adversity – these are the things that keep me motivated on a daily basis, along with the satisfaction of seeing hard work pay off as a project comes to fruition.

I left high school earlier than expected. I tried my hand at various roles, however, it was plumbing that intrigued and engaged me the most. Today I enjoy running a team, supporting them to continue growing and learning, all with a focus on helping the younger team hone their skills so that they too can enjoy the benefits and security of trade. I’ve never looked back.

The year I left school was also the year I met my wife Mel, who is a part-time primary school teacher. Ten years later, in 2013, we were married on Koh Samui Island in Thailand and spent five weeks travelling in Europe. We now live on a lifestyle block in Waiuku on the outskirts of Auckland with an unconventional team consisting of two beautiful daughters, three dogs, a hairless cat, a blue tongue lizard, and baby number three due in October 2020. In 2015, my youngest brother Keagan joined the team as an apprentice (there are four of us boys altogether) and in 2018 I was lucky enough to have my dad Dave take on the drainage arm of the business.

When I’m not working or spending time with the family, I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a sport which epitomises the same core challenges we find in plumbing, such as problem solving and perseverance. I always jump at the opportunity to travel and, as a family, we coincidentally find ourselves in the right place at the right time for a live UFC event.
